Objective: Demonstrate air pressure by manually evacuating the air between two plates sealed by an 18 inch diameter silicon 'O' ring and then doing a couple of pull ups suspended by the plates.

Operation Information

Instructions
The two plates are suspended by a steel cable from the catwalk. A clean straw is inserted and taped onto the valved hose. Use the remote control to drop down the steel cable from the catwalk winch. Clip the cleat onto the eye bolt on the top of the apparatus. Adjust the height of the apparatus so that the step stool top step just allows you to lift the bottom plate easily with one hand while sucking out the air with the straw/hose/valve attachment.
