5B20.17 - Flux Surface Windsock Model

Objective: This is a windsock surface to demonstrate how flux work on complicated surfaces.

Operation Information

Instructions

Gauss’s Law: You can use the windsock to illustrate flux through different surfaces

Ampere-Maxwell Law: illustrate different surfaces (flat disk vs. bulging windsock) (surfaces over which to integrate current density) that are bounded by the same path (the metal ring around which to integrate the line integral of B)
