Description
Amitayus. The Buddha of Eternal Life, seated in meditation on a lotus throne. His hands are on his lap holding his special attribute, the vase of long life. The Buddha is wearing a crown and the usual jewelry of a Bodhisattva. On one side of the Buddha is a seated Tara, on the other the mahasiddha Tilopa (?), holding a skull cup. Other figures are: Amitabha, Marpa, Milaraspa, saints, and lamas of the Drugpa (Kagyu) tradition. 18th century.
